The TERRA Service network

As early as 1995 40 TERRA partner companies offered a service throughout Germany. Since then the partner network has been continuously extended and today consists of more than 600 TERRA service partners. Although a maximisation of the number of partners was never an objective. On the contrary – qualification requirements were raised significantly over the last few years in order to prevent inflationary numbers of partners and to be able to guarantee the quality of TERRA services.

Advice and coordination of service cases has been carried out from the Service Centre in Hüllhorst right from the beginning. There are separate logistical resources, spare parts and staff available for the TERRA service network.

The decentralised storage of parts for servers, which enables coverage by the TERRA server service with reaction times of 4 hours in German and Switzerland, has been a considerable investment. The high numbers of TERRA server systems sold allows for secure availability of up to 5 years, while keeping costs relatively low for individual customers.

TERRA 24 hour service is also available in Austria, the Benelux countries, France and Spain. For projects, a worldwide SWAP service is available.
WORTMANN AG offers different partners fair and individual opportunities for service cooperation. Each partner can access resources of other TERRA parners. The TERRA Service cente brings together suitable partners for the realisation of projects without charge. If requested, the entire coordination of service projects can be guarantee by the TERRA Service centre for a fixed price. TERRA Service is especially recognised for a maximum of goodwill. Whenever possible and technically feasible, we deploy those TERRA partner companies that also offer their sales services to the customer. More than 90 % of service cases are carried out in this way.
