Ergonomic Workplaces

It should be possible for the monitor to be individually positioned, i.e. freely moveable on the desk and with adjustable tilt. Thus, reflections can be avoided and work positions can be individually chosen in order to avoid static stress. The correct monitor height depends on the field of vision when seated. The horizontal field of vision should not be exceeded for regular viewing, as this can lead to harmful stress on the shoulder and neck muscles. Hence the top edge of the monitor should be no higher than the eye level, however, ideally it should be below that level.
